Practice Magazine x C.P. Company
Info ProjectTara L.C. Sood for Practice Magazine, photographing and directing an exploration of the Bondy neighbourhood in Paris, in collaboration with C.P. Company.
Practice magazine writes: Bondy sits on the northeastern edge of Paris, beyond the monuments and postcard images that shape the city in the global imagination. Like many of the capital’s banlieues, it’s often defined by distance and perception, yet life here moves at its own rhythm. Families gather beneath apartment blocks while elders watch over younger generations; football spills across cages, schoolyards and concrete pitches from morning until dusk.
There is pride here. There is care. There is community.
To celebrate the 2026 World Cup, Ten Thousand Hours in Bondy, directed by Tara L.C. Sood, turns its attention elsewhere: toward the quieter foundations of mastery. The unseen hours. The environments that shape belief, discipline and identity long before greatness reaches the stadium lights, where generations have helped shape the identity and success of French football.
