North Exhibition Curation, Somerset House

Exploring representations of the north of England in photography, fashion and art, the exhibition featured over 100 contributions from renowned photographers, designers and artists. Alasdair McLellan, Corinne Day, Jeremy Deller, Elaine Constantine, Raf Simons, Virgil Abloh, Peter Saville, Gareth Pugh, Glen Luchford, Jamie Hawkesworth and David Sims amongst many others were represented.

Contemporary photography, fashion collections and multimedia artworks sat alongside social documentary film and photography, highlighting how the realities of life in the north of England captured in the 20th century continue to influence new generations of photographers, artists and designers.
